Questions about billing
Who charges my card?
Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle appears on your statement, collects the VAT or sales tax your country requires, and issues invoices and refunds. We never see your card number. Add your business tax ID at checkout to have it printed on the invoice.
What is the difference between the agency and freelancer plans?
The same product with different limits. Agency plans are built around a team: seats, custom roles and contractors scoped to specific clients. Freelancer plans are a single seat with a larger client and project allowance at the same price, because a freelancer will never invite anybody. You choose once, when you create your workspace.
Can I change plans later?
Yes, from Settings → Billing. Upgrades apply immediately and Paddle charges only the prorated difference for the rest of the period. Downgrades apply at your next renewal. If a downgrade would put you over the lower plan’s limits you keep everything you have, but cannot add more until you are within them.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep the paid plan until the end of the period you paid for, then the workspace drops to Free with every record intact. Nothing is deleted because of a cancellation or a failed payment. Our Refund Policy covers the 14-day guarantee on a first payment and unused renewals.
What counts as a client or a project?
A client is one company or person you work for; a project is one piece of work under a client or on its own. Archived clients and projects do not count towards the limit, so finished work never costs you a slot.
Is AI usage included?
Every plan includes an AI allowance for the RoWA assistant, the daily brief, mailbox triage and delivery scans, sized to the tier. When an allowance is used up, AI features pause until the next period; nothing else is affected. Workspaces can also bring their own model-provider keys.
